Why is she all over me when she is going out with someone?

I just met this girl 3 weeks ago. My friend introduced her to me at the club but i wasn't all that excited to get to know her. So all night i didn't really pay much attention or notice her but she insisted on dancing so i went with it..nothing big yet..





The next week was my birthday weekend, she celebrated with me along with my friends. Through out the night she was all over me, she would pull my arm around her, lean on me, sit on my lap and get really comfy close to me. Before the night started she mentioned a guy friend but the way she talked about him and the way she acted with me, made it sound like that guy was just close friends..at the end of the night we dropped her off at that guy's place.





The next morning we met up with her and her guy friend, i wasn't looking but my friend's told me that they kissed goodbye. Later that night we were back at the club and it was the same thing. She was all over me, got close and we danced..at times she would text for a while but being the good guy, i budded out of her phone and continued to dance with her, at one point she told me she was into me and that we were just friends or something and other stuff but i couldn't here the rest. The next morning i get a message from her telling me to excuse what she said and that she didn't know what she was thinking b/c she was a lil tipsy. I told her that it was alright even though i barely heard all of it.





Until then we've been talking a lot, she gave me her number and then aim. It seems like she's in a rush to talk to me and hang out with me or something because she keeps asking when we're gonna hang out...and we've hung out 2 already at the mall and going out to eat. After a while i figured out that she's going out with that guy friend and that she just broke up with an ex also..She tells me about both of the guys like it's nothing and insist on still talking with me. How her ex is causing drama and that she's writing her friend's essay (the guy i'm assuming is her bf) She only mentions him as a friend.





So i'm pretty confused at the situation...How is it that she broke up with her ex, gone out with another guy and then meet and flirt w/ me like crazy within 3-4 weeks time period? I dunno if she's really into me or the other guy...Why is she all over me when she is going out with someone?
