okay me and this guy have had a thing for a very long time but he always flirts with me on msn and over texts but never in person he barly talks to me inperson and im pretty sure that he likes me but we have the same best friend so i dont want to just walk up and start flirting with him because our friend will make it akward does anyone have any advice on how to make him not so shy around me and make him accually flirt with me?He knows i like him, how do i get him to flirt with me?
This is the problem with the technology age...we have an online personality and an in-person personality. You like his online personality...but his in-person personality is not as outgoing. He probably realizes this himself, but it is going to take a long time for these two personality to get in sync...if ever. Don't push him, and continue to cultivate that online relationship (it is not different that people sending letters in the old days). Maybe he will get more comfortable with you in person, and you will see his fun, flirty online side.





By the way, I have chatted for years with people while worked remotely. Then, when we finally met face-to-face, it was like we had to start over to understand how to communicate face-to-face. Like we didn't know how to read each other's facial expression and body language. Like our rhythm was off.
